Josué, former Sao Paulo, scores for two years with Atletico
JOSHUA NOT GALO
Josué left Wolfsburg to sign a two-year contract with Atlético Mineiro. The information was disclosed by the German club, who thanked the driver for the services provided. Josué’s 33-year career was marked by many titles. Among them, the Copa Libertadores and the Club World Cup in 2005, by São Paulo. Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs described the midfielder as “one of the most successful players” to have passed through Wolfsburg. Josué arrived at the club in 2007, coming from São Paulo, and was German champion in 2008/2009, a historic feat for the small club. Atletico has not yet officially confirmed the signing, but only waits for bureaucratic details to announce the player.
